Zvezda's 1/144 scale kit of the Boeing 787-800will be here Tuesday February 9th 2010! And better, due to the size of my order, I can pass along a 10% price decrease! All orders received to date will be filled at the lower price.
Our latest Welsh shipment has arrived, and includes a few more Air Canada E190's. We have more on order, expected in stock mid February 2010. Nothing new this shipment... the C.46 will be here in February.
We have received a small shipment of Platz Models - three different 1/144 scale C.46's, two different 1/72 Dash 8-100's (HobbyCraft Canada kit), and their 1/144 JAL MD80 (Minicraft kit). Quantities are very limited. "Back Orders" will be accepted but with no guarantee that we can get the models.
The FLY Models 1/144 scale DC-9-30 kits are in stock. Three options currently available, NASA, Firebird II and Unted Nations. Each kit contains an appropriate set of resin parts for the different versions.
We just received Contrails Models latest releases, including the 777 nose and GE90-115B engines. The Hercules props (1/72 and 1/48) are expected shortly.
The F-Rsin injection moulded 1/144 scale Douglas DC-7C kits have arrived! Three separate kits available, with your choice of BOAC, KLM or Braniff markings.
There is a strong and reliable rumour circulating that Hasegawa will be releasing a 1/144 scale Embraer 170 in JAL Express markings in 2010. No date.... no price... stay tuned!
Flying Fish Models has ceased production of their entire product line, with the knock-on effect that Authentic Airliners models are also temporarily out of production. We do not know if or when AA will resume production, and consequently as existing stocks of their products sell out, we will be withdrawing them from sale.
The Zvezda Boeing 767-300 kit has arrived. Decal is for the current Aeroflot scheme, and Boeing's 'house' scheme. The kit has GE CF6 engines. PW4000's and RR RB.211's are available by BraZ.
We have some new ExtraTech etch brass sets in stock, for the Revell Germany Boeing 737-800, Daco-Skyline Boeing 737-300/-400/-500 and the Zvezda / Revell Germany Ilyushin 86 kits.
The Revell Germany C-17A Globemaster III kit is back in stock. We have some great decals by Draw Decals, inclding some interesting "Flights of Fancy" schemes for a commercial variant. Qatar marking are in stock by Draw and from TwoSix.
Revell Germany has announced a 1/144 scale kit of the Boeing 787-800 'Dreamliner', tentatively scheduled for release in November 2009. Box art we've seen suggests it will have a decal for the Boeing "Dreamliner" scheme. We will open up the item for pre-order as further details are available. *** Update Jan 4 2010 - it is rumoured that Revell has cancelled this kit to avoid duplicating the Zvezda kit. More info once confirmed. ***
AirlineFan.com has released an interesting new book titled 'Air-to-Air Ultimate Airline Photography'. It's semi-hard cover, and features an impressive selection of air to air airliner photographs.
Revell Germany has re-released their Airbus A.320 kit with Lufthansa markings, as kit RV4267. It comes with CFM56 engines only. Also just arrived the 1/72 scale DC-3 (RV4234) with Finnair and Ilmavoimat markings.

RBX Decals are now in stock! These are laser printed in Brasil, this decal line features purely Brazilian subjects.

"Handling" Charge
All orders under $25.00 before shipping will be charged a $5.00 handling charge. This is automatically added to the postage charge at checkout time, and will appear on your final invoice mailed with your order. This handling charge will NOT apply to back order shipments, and will NOT apply to "standing orders" for monthly magazines (e.g. WAFN).
A customer asked "If I place a small second order, that ships with a another order already "In Process", will the Handling charge apply" Answer is "No".... but please remind me in the Checkout Notes of the other order! I will combine and if the new total before shipping is over $25, the Handling Charge will not apply.
